I was just tucking DD2 into bed and she found a feather. She asked me if a bird brought it in and I told her no, it came from the blanket (down comforter). This morning when I was in the shower, DD2 came in and told me she lost her bow.  She wanted to know where it was.  I told her to look in the middle drawer (where we keep hair bows).  She kept telling me it wasn't in there.  I finally peeked out of the shower and discovered she wanted to know what happened to the bow on the front of her panties!  ( Read more... )

I found DD2 digging around in the medicine cabinet, so I dragged her out of there.  Like a boomerang, she went right back in there.  I had DH drag her out this time.  When I asked her what she was trying to do, she told me she was looking for some medicine that would make her feel better.  Poor boo.  She has a nasty cold, but we don't have anything ( Read more... )

DH was baking with the girls earlier this morning and DD2 asked for a taste. DH asked her if she wanted a spoonful of flour and she said "thanks"! When asked how the flour was though, she said "yukky". LOL.

Then I asked her if she was a popsicle (because she felt quite cold) and she told me, "No, I don't have a stick". LOL again!

DD2 calls caramel popcorn "camel" popcorn. LOL!

This morning on the drive to preschool I was asking our neighbor (who is 4) and DD2 what they wanted to be when they grew up.  Neighbor kid went first: she wants to be a princess.  Ok, I thought.  That sounds like a fun thing to be when you grow up.  So, I ask DD2 next.  Her answer?  A doggie.  LOL!!!

My brother sent me a text message on my cell phone at 7:30 this morning to ask if I had any advice for him about his 3 month old who is coughing.  Hee.  So cute.  He's calling me because his baby has her first cold ( Read more... )

I finally bit the bullet and made DD2 go without a diaper this afternoon.  I have gotten her to pee twice in the potty.  The second time I put her on the potty, she told me she didn't have to go, but then moments later she peed a little on the floor.  This is where I think we finally have good news; she peed a little and was able to stop!  I then ( Read more... )
